MANSNERUS
FREDRIK
Mansnerus Fredrik, Ruben, Mollyhawk, was
born in Föglö, Åland, on 6.7.1900 and died in 1962.
He made his first voyage in 1925 in the
German m v HEINRICH CHRISTIAN.
He obtained his Master Mariner's certificate
in Mariehamn in 1933.
Ruben Mansnerus rounded Cape Horn three
times.
He served in the schooner BALDER, full-
rigger GRACE HARWAR, barque WINTERHUDE, schooner WELLAMO (of which Chief Mate in
1933) s s BADIA, s s SAVONIA, s s BJÖRNEBORG,s sESTER THORDEN and DAPHNE.
He was Chief Mate of the s s INDRA and s
s FIFRA and Master of the FIDRA.
From 1949 to 1950 he was Master of the m v
ELLA.
Subsequently he was Chief Mate of the s s
TRANVIK, s s FANNY, m v BONNY, m t RAGNY and s s ADENY.
He was then Chief Mate of the s s RISSA.
